These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Odisha Service Rules (OSR) mobile application and the website odishaservicerules.in ("the app", "the service", "we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
OSR is an independent reference and utility application for Odisha Government employees. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of the Government of Odisha, the Government of India, or any government body, and it does not provide or facilitate any government service. All rules, circulars, judgements and documents referenced are publicly available official documents, provided for convenience and cited with their source.
The information in the app — including AI-generated answers, summaries, and calculator outputs — is provided for general reference and guidance only. It does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice, and it is not an official interpretation or pay fixation. For any official or legal purpose, the original notifications, gazette publications, and circulars issued by the competent Government authority shall prevail. Always verify against the original source before acting.
The AI Assistant searches official documents and generates answers automatically. While we strive for accuracy, AI answers may be incomplete, outdated, or occasionally incorrect. Calculator results — including the 8th CPC projection — are estimates based on assumptions you select and on published pay matrices; they are not guaranteed and depend on official notifications. You are responsible for verifying any information before relying on it.
You sign in using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the app only for lawful purposes.
You agree not to misuse the service, including (without limitation): attempting to gain unauthorised access, abusing the coin or referral system, using automated means to extract data, reselling or redistributing content, or using the app in any way that violates applicable law.
The app's design, original text, software, and branding are owned by the developer. Official government documents referenced in the app remain the property of their respective authorities and are used only for reference with attribution.
The app displays rewarded video advertisements through Google AdMob. Your interaction with ads and any information collected in connection with them is subject to Google's policies.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time, and may update its content, features, or these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the information or calculations provided by the app.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Odisha, India.
